FOUNDER, ORGANIZER

Cakes For Kids was not actually Jessie’s idea. She first heard of the concept from Cakes For Kids Winnipeg while living in Manitoba. After moving to Saskatoon, she decided we needed to spread the love and birthday treats to kids here as well. And voila, Cakes For Kids Saskatoon was born with the help of her sister, Rachel Hack.

Jessie works as a product consultant for accessibility equipment, and has experience working in rehab settings with people who’ve had spinal cord injuries, amputations and strokes. She is also a part time student, working towards a bachelors degree in Community Rehab & Disablement. She enjoys time outdoors with friends and family, reading and, of course, baking.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Rachel is our Social Media Manager, co-founder, and Jessie’s older sister. She is the mother of two handsome young boys, and they are the apple of her eye. And boy, do they keep her busy! Rachel has worked at First Aid For Life as an office admin & first aid instructor since 2015.

Rachel has always had a knack for planning events and is a talented baker/cake decorator, making her perfect for Cakes for Kids.
